PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, calling for the records relating to the impugned Online message dated 05.09.2025 issued by the 4th Respondent rejecting the Petitioners application for Transfer of Patta without subdivision bearing Application No. 2025/0103/24/415813 and quash the same and consequently directing the Respondents to grant Separate Patta in respect of the property situated in Survey No.117/6, Resurvey No.46/6 to an extent of 0.05.5 Ares (13 Cents) of Narasingam III-Bit Village, Kadachanendal, Madurai District in favour of the Petitioner and his brother P.Rajkumar based on the Registered Acceptance deed dated 21.08.2025 bearing document No.3274/2025. ORDER

An order dated 05.09.2025 is challenged in this writ petition primarily on the ground that such order is unreasoned.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. He submits that the matter may be remanded for reconsideration.

3. On perusal of the impugned order, it is seen that the order records that "the application 2025/0103/24/415813 is rejected by Zonal Deputy Tahsildar on 05.09.2025" No reasons are recorded for such rejection. Therefore, the order 2/5

cannot be sustained and its hereby set aside. As a consequence, the matter is remanded for reconsideration by the Tahsildar. After providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other person who would be affected by the decision, a speaking order shall be issued within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
