No.2777/2025, in favor of the petitioner herein, relating to the properties described therein, in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act.

Heard both sides.

2. The rectification deed dated 28.10.2025 executed in favour of the writ petitioner by his father was presented for registration. Registration was refused on the sole ground that the document in respect of which rectification is sought was not produced in original. Challenging the refusal check slip, this writ petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the original settlement deed is readily available and he would produce the same, while re-presenting the rectification deed. Since on this sole ground, registration was refused, on production of the original settlement deed dated 21.07.2025, the rectification deed shall be registered and released subject to fulfilment of other usual formalities. 2/4
