The petition is being prosecuted by an agent of Aysha Mariam. It is stated that Aysha Mariam had purchase property under document dated 14.06.1996. On the ground that the patta had been transferred wrongly in the names of Kamaliya, Lailathu Kathir and Nishath, an appeal was lodged before the Revenue Divisional Officer. The petitioner seeks the early disposal thereof.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the sole respondent. He submits that the next hearing is scheduled on 28.11.2025. He submits that a speaking order would be issued upon conclusion of the inquiry within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and dispose of the pending appeal on merits within three (3) 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, Kamaliya, Lailathu Kathir and Nishath. No costs.
