ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2012 as directed by the first respondent vide his letter in Na.Ka.No.59642/2012/M2, dated 15.10.2012 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of his representation, dated 15.10.2012, wherein, he had alleged that the police officials had forcibly removed his gold ornaments and cash.

4.The learned Government appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that on the Petitioner's representation before the District Collector was referred to the Inspector General of Police who in turn had forwarded the complaint to the Superintendent of Police with a specific direction to the Inspector of Police, Paramakudi to conduct necessary enquiry and submit a report in this regard. As per the report, the Petitioner's complaint was found to be false and that there was no such incident against the Police Officials. In view of the Petitioner's representation having been considered, no further orders are required in the present Writ Petition. It is needless to point out that if at all the Petitioner is aggrieved upon the report of the Inspector of Police, Paramakudi, it is open to him to challenge the same in the manner known to law.

5.With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
