ORDER
The above petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent police to investigate and file a final report as per the order made in W.P.(MD)No.4631 of 2025 dated 07.04.2025.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.Manikandan, Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, is present before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents filed a copy of the FIR registered in Crime No.8 of 2025 dated 24.11.2025.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in the present petition sought for a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in pursuance of the order made in W.P.(MD)No.4631 of 2025 dated 07.04.2025. 2/3
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that they will take nine months to file final report including the time required for getting sanction.
6. Recording the same, the respondents are directed to file a final report within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
