respondent to enquire the scandal of loan waiver to Self help Group, mismanagement of Government Funds allotted to SHG by the 3rd and 4th Respondents and equally not monitoring SHG fund utilization, not keeping proper accounts by the 2nd Respondent and subsequently, waive the loan amount to the petitioner within a time as fixed by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to enquire the scandal of loan waiver to Self help Group, mismanagement of Government Funds allotted to SHG by the 3rd and 4th respondents and equally not monitoring SHG fund utilization, not keeping proper accounts by the 2nd Respondent and subsequently, waive the loan amount to the petitioner within a time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.K.Balasubramani, learned Sepcial Government Pleader, who takes notice for the third respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Though this petition has been filed seeking aforesaid prayer, the learned counsel for the petitioner has now submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitiner dated 29.05.2023 is ordered to be considered by the Joint Registrar of Coopeartive Socities, Tuticorin.
4. In view of nature of the order to be passed, the Joint Registrar of Coopeartive Socities, Tuticorin, is suo motu impleaded as respondent in this petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the Joint Registrar of Coopeartive Socities, Tuticorin, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2023 on its own merits and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
