O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal petition, dated 10.08.2012, within the time frame as fixed by this Court and further directing the 1st respondent to secure the amount of Rs.1,47,280/- (One lakhs fourty seven thousand two hundred and eighty only) from the 3rd respondent for making the payment to the petitioner for taking the treatment at the 4th respondent hospital with the other incidental expenses.

2.Heard Mr.V.Sankaranarayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.After some elaborate arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the appeal of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the appeal will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 10.08.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
