ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass or ill treat the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the respondent Police is not harassing the petitioner; that an enquiry is pending on the complaint given by one Punitha against the petitioner; and that the enquiry would be completed within a period of four weeks.

3. It is needless to say that the respondent Police in the guise of enquiry cannot harass any person. However, if the petitioner's presence is required for enquiry, the respondent Police shall issue summons and complete the enquiry within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
