ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to prohibit the 5th respondent to use the JCB, Hitachi and other heavy vehicles used for build up the access road in order to transport the tree at survey Nos.5/1, 5/5, 6/1, 9/2, 10/1, 12/1, 23, 24, 25/1, 25/2, situated at Kamanur Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District and to take necessary action as against the 5th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2025. 2.This Court in an earlier occasion has directed the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodaikanal to file an action taken report. 2/5

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, produced the action taken report dated 30.01.2026 stating that the heavy vehicles had been deployed based on the permission granted by the first respondent vide proceedings in N.K.No.138/P.T.M./2025 dated 07.11.2025. However, there were some deviations and illegal felling of trees. Hence, action has been initiated and penalty has been imposed under Section 21 of the Tamil Nadu Mines and Minor Minerals (Regulation and (Development) Act vide proceedings dated 06.01.2026.

4.In view of the above subsequent developments, no further direction is required to be issued in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed.
