The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is seeking for police protection to the petitioner and his family members, based on the representation, dated 11.02.2013.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 5 states that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5.

3. The cause of action for which the present writ petition has been filed arose way back in 2013 and hence, it would not be appropriate for this Court to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's request for police protection after lapse of four years. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to him to make a fresh request for police protection ventilating his grievance.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
