O R D E R

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to disburse the arrears of salary as per the 6th Pay Commission recommendation.

2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that he was employed in the Central Industrial Security Force as Police Constable and retired from service on 1.11.1997. The 6th Pay Commission was implemented on 1.1.2006 and the revision of pension as per the recommendation had not been settled in favour of the Writ Petitioner. In this regard, the Writ Petitioner had submitted a representation to the first respondent on 18.10.2012 and the same is yet to be considered.

3.Hence, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 18.10.2012 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. The Writ Petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation along with relevant documents with a copy of this order to the first respondent, for further action.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
