ORDER

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to provide the Petitioner with alternative job with continuity of service and protection of pay along with the backwages from 3.2.2011. 2.The Writ Petitioner was appointed as a Driver in the respondents/Corporation from 1.8.1994 onwards. The Petitioner was promoted to the post of Senior Driver and on account of ill-ness, the Writ Petitioner was unable to perform his duties and responsibilities of a Driver. Thus, along with Medical Certificate, the Petitioner made a representation to provide alternate job. However, the respondents have not taken any decision in this regard.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the Petitioner on 23.08.2012 and pass orders on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation and the documents, if any, along with a copy of this order to the second respondent, for further action.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
