: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing Director of School Education, Chennai, the first respondent herein, to pass suitable orders to conduct fresh special audit to find out fraud and misappropriation in the fourth respondent school and also direct him to redress the irregularities disclosed by the Audit report by considering the representation dated 29.01.2012 of the petitioner.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner died and he handed over the bundle to the legal heirs of the petitioner.

2. Since the petitioner died, in my view, the Writ Petition can be closed as abated, without affecting the rights of the legal heirs to agitate the matter, if so advised. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
