Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent herein to appoint the petitioner by absorbing in the existing permanent vacancy on a regular time scale of pay as per G.O.Ms.No.21 dated 23.02.2006 with all service benefits. The petitioner seeks for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to appoint the petitioner by absorbing in the existing permanent vacancy on a regular time scale of pay as per G.O.Ms.No.21 dated 23.02.2006 with all service benefits.
2.Heard Mr.F.Deepak, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent / Municipality. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. After some elaborate arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.12.2011, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
