ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for direction to the respondents 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the complainant.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the fourth respondent and that the same would be completed within a period of two weeks.

3. It is needless to say that the respondent Police in the guise of enquiry cannot harass any person. However, if the petitioner's presence is required for enquiry, the respondent Police shall issue summons and complete the enquiry within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
