ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the case pending before the second respondent in Na.Ka.No. 5911/2025/A1 within a time frame.

2. Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the third respondent is his son. Apart from him, the petitioner has four daughters. Certain ancestral properties belonged to the petitioner's father. After the demise of the petitioner's father, the petitioner and his family have been in possession of the same. It is alleged that the third respondent mutated the revenue records and included his name in the patta. It is further stated that the third respondent has not maintained the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint before the official respondents. Since no action was taken, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's case will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's case in Na.Ka.No.5911/2025/A1 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent.
