O R D E R

Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is a resident of Karur Taluk. He is having agricultural lands in Velliyanai South Village. He is aggrieved by the proposed installation of transmission lines by the private respondents in the petition-mentioned cart track. The petitioner had already given representation dated 15.10.2025 in this regard. Admittedly, the transmission lines would not be running over the petitioner's land.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the private respondents asserts that permission had been obtained from the concerned authorities. I can grant writ of mandamus only if some illegality is demonstrated. The petitioner has not been able to show, as to how his right will be affected by the proposed installation. In any event, the first respondent is cognizant of the issue. It is for him to take a call in the matter. If according to the first respondent, the petitioner's rights have been infringed, it is the duty of the first 3/5

4 W.P.(MD)NO.32914 OF 2025 respondent to redress the same. Beyond making this observation, I am not in a position to grant any further direction. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
