This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to give electricity connection to the house bearing Door No.81/A, Thevar Colony, Trichy.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.The case of the petitioner is that he has taken the above mentioned house property of the third respondent on lease and at that time, the third respondent has given assurance to get electricity connection to the said property. Since the same has not been done by the third respondent, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the concerned authorities by production of proof with regard to his residence for obtaining necessary service connection.

5.In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities by producing residential proof to obtain service connection. No costs.
