ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.34 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police, which was registered for the offences under Sections 61(2)(b), 335, 337, 339, 340(2), 319(1) of BNS and Section 66(C) of IT Act.

2.When this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition and has made an endorsement to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would request that a direction may be issued to the respondent to expedite the investigation and file the final report.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the respondent police to 2/4

conclude the investigation in Crime No.34 of 2025 and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
