India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to rectify the error occurred under online Town Survey Updation in respect of the petitioner's property in T.S.No. 7/1 (Old S.No.40/1) in Block 26, Ward C, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District to an extent of 16 cents in light of the order passed by the Respondent No.3 in O.Mu.No.E/2427/2021 dated 07.10.2021 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

By relying on an order dated 07.10.2021 of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner seeks a direction for correction of the online Town Survey Records in respect of the property in Town Survey No. 7/1 in Block 26, Ward C of Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon an earlier order of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.19339 of 2025 and submits that the said order pertains to the property in T.S.No.7/2. Since the nature of the error is identical, he states that a similar order may be passed in this Writ Petition.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He states that the District Collector has to pass orders on the petitioner's request.

4. The Revenue Divisional Officer has stated in communication dated 07.10.2021 that an error was committed in the online Town Survey Records relating to Block 26. Therefore, a case is made out to consider the petitioner's request.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's request for correction of the Town Survey online records in respect of T.S.No.7/1 of an extent of 16 cents. The order shall be issued in relation to such request within two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. W.M.P. (MD) No.25740 of 2025 is allowed.
