O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the interest at the rate of 6 percent per annum for the belated settlement of the petitioners retirement benefits namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Commuted value of pension and Leave Salary for the period from 31.10.2022 to 30.05.2023

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by an earlier order passed by this Court and has placed reliance on the order made in W.P(MD)No.20522 of 2025 dated 29.07.2025.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent also does not dispute the said fact.

4. In view of the same, the respondents are directed to release the eligible benefits to the petitioner together with 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
