Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take action on the Police officers, who failed to perform their duties properly by initiating disciplinary action or any other punitive action, such as demotion, removal from service, against the respondents 3 to 5 for violating the rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.08.2025. ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take action on the Police officers, who failed to perform their duties properly by initiating disciplinary action or any other punitive action, such as demotion, removal from service, against the respondents 3 to 5 for violating the rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.08.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry is pending to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out and that the same would be concluded within a period of two weeks. 2/5

3. In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondents Police to complete the above said enquiry and communicate the result of the same to the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
