O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors /respondents 1 to 5 for their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in WP Crl.(MD)No.398 of 2025 dated 04.07.2025 and punish them under the contempt of Court Act
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents have not so far considered the representation submitted by the petitioner and not passed any order.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent passed order by rejecting the request made by the petitioner seeking premature release by G.O(D) No.122, Home(Prison-IV) Department, dated 02.02.2026.
4. Recording the same, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order he is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
