The learned counsel for the Madurai Kamaraj University made a submission that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is challenging the extension period granted in favour of the 12th respondent. However, 12th respondent was relieved from service on 24.3.2017 itself. Thus no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.

2.Accordingly, the Writ Petition Stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
