ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to issue a legal heirship certificate by considering his representation dated 06.10.2025. 2.Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the petitioner, his father, Palanisamy, died on 19.01.2024, and thereafter he applied for and obtained the death certificate. The petitioner's younger brother, Duraisamy, has also passed away. Since the ancestral property stands in the name of the deceased father, the petitioner requires a legal heirship certificate for mutation of patta in their names. It is stated that when the petitioner approached his siblings for their Aadhaar cards to process the application, they refused to provide the same. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.10.2025 to the respondents. As the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. The third respondent shall not insist on the production of the Aadhar Card of the petitioner siblings and shall conduct a filed enquiry and pass orders.
