ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.19463 of 2025 dated 18.07.2025, has not been complied with.

2.The petitioner with a grievance that his pension has not been provided properly, has submitted a representation and has approached this Court by way of a writ petition in WP.(MD)No. 19463 of 2025. Considering the rival submissions made, this Court by its order dated 18.07.2025, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2023, on its merits and pass orders, within a stipulated period, after providing opportunity to the petitioner. However, the respondent by a proceedings dated 27.12.2025 has passed an order that the promotion of the petitioner in the cadre of Office Assistant is not proper and cancelled the order dated 26.05.2021. 2/4

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring to the order dated 27.12.2025, submits that the respondent has passed this order only in order to defeat the claim of the petitioner in his representation dated 20.06.2023. 4.Considering the nature of relief granted in the writ petition and the scope of the contempt as to orders passed by this Court, this Contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 27.12.2025, in accordance with law. 06.02.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes gns To The District Collector, Madurai District.
