ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate armed police protection to the petitioner to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioner. 2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's family has been excommunicated by one Putthan Tharuvai Jamath and the fifth respondent, who is the Vice President of the said Jamath acted in connivance of the respondents 6 to 12, due to some matrimonial dispute threatened the petitioner that he would take action with the help of the police officials against the petitioner and he also foist police case. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed, seeking the above said relief.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the writ petitioner himself is not available in the village for the past several years and on enquiry also, such allegations made by the petitioner is found to be not correct.
4.In the above circumstances, since the petitioner himself is not available in the village for a long time, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
