PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents with regard to upload the assignment patta on the computer issued by the 3rd Respondent vide his proceedings dated 02.03.2021 in Ni.Mu.1422/2021/Aa6 under the Special scheme of Tamilnadu Land handed over scheme by considering the representation dated 10.10.2025 to the 3rd Respondent preferred by the petitioner in respect of the property to an extent of 0.63.5 Ares situated in S.No. 224/6, 115K, Rayapuram Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

By relying on the assignment order dated 31.12.2007 in favour of the petitioner's mother and the communication dated 02.03.2021 from the Tahsildar to the petitioner's mother, the petitioner had requested that the assignment patta be uploaded on the computer. This writ petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that an inquiry would be conducted and orders would be issued on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's request and pass orders thereon on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the other legal heirs of his deceased mother. No costs.
