: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Property Tax Demand Notice cum working sheet for Assessment No.94045 made in ER1/659/12, dated 16.10.2012 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the first respondent to assess the Property Tax Demand Notice cum working sheet afresh relating to the petitioner's building having Assessment No.94045 and bearing door No.71-I, Munichalai Road, Madurai, properly as per G.O.Ms.No.150 of the Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Election) Department, dated 12.11.2007, in accordance with Sec.118 of Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1971 and also following all Uniform Guidelines issued under Lr.No.

38279/Elec/2006-2, dated 01.02.2008 of Municipal Administration of Water Supply Department, Chennai - 600 009 and as per the resolution No.584, dated 31.10.2008 passed by the Madurai City Municipal Corporation counsil. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Alagumani For Respondents : Mr.R.

O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 14.11.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:- "I am counsel for the petitioner in W.P(MD).4258 of 2013 on 20.08.2013 which is pending before this Honorable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

court. The said writ petition has been filed to stay the further proceedings relating to the property tax demand Notice. Since the case is to be withdrawn, it may be posted on 15.11.2016. So I have filed this letter before the Registry to list the case tomorrow which is pending before this Honorable court. Therefore I request your good self to direct to list the case in W.P(MD)No.4258 of 2013 on 15.11.2016 for withdrawal."

He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the letter given and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
