..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue a fresh auction cum tender notification for allotment of newly Constructed Municipal shops situated at Sivagangai Bus Stand by giving wide paper publication and due publicity in strict compliance with the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and the Rules 2000 and the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 2022 within a stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue a fresh auction-cumtender notification for the allotment of newly constructed municipal shops situated at the Sivagangai Bus Stand, by giving wide paper publication and due publicity, in strict compliance with the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998, the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000, and the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the tender would be conducted after completion of the construction and that the same would be carried out as per the prescribed procedure. It was further submitted that the third respondent will conduct the tender process by strictly following the extant rules.

3. Recording the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
