Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conclude the enquiry and submit a report to the 2nd respondent based on the petitioners petition dated 20.06.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner as stipulated by this Hon'ble court.

By asserting that the petitioner was provided GR.Nos.853 and 858 for the property on the basis of the settlement deed in her favour, the petitioner had applied for a separate patta upon finding that the GR number was cancelled and that the property was reflected in the names of her father and uncle. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the report of the Village Administrative Officer is awaited by the Tahsildar for taking further action on the petitioner's request for separate patta.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the Village Administrative Officer would submit the report within six weeks and that the Tahsildar would pass orders on the petitioner's request for separate patta within three months.

In these circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's request for a separate patta within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the current pattadhars. No costs.
