2.The relief sought for cannot be granted in writ proceedings. The petitioner has to necessarily move the jurisdictional Civil Court for getting the relief of cancellation. It is well settled that the registering authority cannot cancel a registered document. 3.With the aforesaid liberty to the writ petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
