ORDER

This Civil Revision petition is filed seeking to issue a direction to the District Munsif Court, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, to expedite the proceedings in O.S.No.151 of 2024, which is pending before the trial court and to dispose the same.

2. In view of the limited order being passed in this Civil Revision Petition, notice to the 2nd and 3rd respondents is hereby dispensed with.

3. The suit has been filed for a decree of declaration declaring the election conducted by the 3rd respondent on 25.09.2024 as null and void. The election to the office bearers of the second Defendant Society is only for a period of three years and that the same would also come to an end in the month of April 2027.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the District Munsif Court, Kovilpatti to dispose of the suit OS.No.151 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible, but however, not later than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
