O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to provide sufficient police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family members from the hands of A.M.Periyasamy, his family members and his henchmen considering his representation dated 11.03.2013.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter and the petition may be closed as infructuous, by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority afresh, if so required.

3. In view of the above submission, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, with liberty as sought for by the petitioner. No costs.
