ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 3 to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner to carry out agricultural activities in his agricultural land in S.Nos.114/2A and 114/2B, Chathirapatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the earlier complaint given by the petitioner, an FIR was registered in Crime No.276 of 2025 for the offences under Section 296(b), 324(4) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023; and that the respondent Police cannot interfere in any other civil dispute.

3. The stand taken by the respondents is justified. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of private party in interfering with the petitioner's possession, it is for him to seek appropriate remedy before the Civil Court. 2/4

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
