PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to process petitioner passport application Reference No.25-1063552388 Dated 15.10.2025 and issue the passport within a time limit to be stipulated by this court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to process the passport application of the writ petition dated 15.10.2025.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that a criminal complaint has been filed as against the petitioner in Cr.No.90 of 2025 on the file of the Rural Police Station, Pandiyan Nagar, Virudhunagar District. It has culminated in filing of the charge sheet in S.C.No.330 of 2025 on the file of the Additional District Court, Virudhunagar.

3. In view of the filing of the charge sheet, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned trial Court seeking the prior permission of the Court to go abroad. Based upon the order passed by the Court concerned, the first respondent is directed to issue the passport.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
