ORDER

The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.10.2025 for the offences punishable under Section 305(a) of BNS in Crime No.415 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners have stolen Rs.10,000/- and ledgers from the defacto complainant's lodge. Hence, this case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are an innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, they have been arrested and are languishing in jail from 13.10.2025. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police opposed for grant of bail on the ground that the investigation is still pending. Further, the petitioner Sachin has 26 previous cases and the petitioner Krishnappa has two previous cases. It is further submitted that the petitioner Sachin was the Driver and he was waiting inside the car and the accused persons were in possession of the ledger which contains data like Aadhar number, mobile number and other information which could be used for digital fraud.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature and gravity of the offence, the specific overt act against the petitioners, and considering the previous antecedents of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to

CRL OP(MD) NO. 20168 of 2025 the petitioners at this stage.
