ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the property comprised in Natham Old S.No.52 and New Survey No.274/17 in Patta No.1000, to an extent of 0-1.30 Ares, situated at Valavallan Village, Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025 and online application dated 10.09.2025, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online application dated 10.09.2025 for demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question and the same is still pending without any progress.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that after consideration of the claims, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 10.09.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
