O R D E R

The relief sought for in the Writ Petition is to quash the order of rejection, dated 17.1.2013 and to direct the respondents to consider the Petitioner for appointment to the post of Technical Trainee in the respondent/Corporation by granting age concession.

2.As far as the impugned order, dated 17.1.2013 is concerned, the respondent/Corporation furnished a reply stating that the Writ Petitioner had not participated in the process of interview conducted on 27.10.2012 and 29.10.2012. Even without participating in the process of interview, the Writ Petitioner has chosen to file the present Writ Petition on 26.3.2013 with a prayer to grant age relaxation. Relaxation of age cannot be granted in a routine manner. The Writ Petitioner failed to participate in the interview held on 27.10.2012 and 29.10.2012. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This being the factum, request of age relaxation at this length of time cannot be granted to the Writ Petitioner. 2.The Writ Petitioner, even at the time of filing of Writ Petition is aged about 37 years and now he is 43 years and this being the factum, the Petitioner who did not participate in the interview, has no locus-standi to seek for age relaxation for the purpose of securing appointment to the post of Technical Trainee in the respondent/Corporation. Hence the Writ Petition is devoid of merits and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
