ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner's Mahindra Pickup bearing Registration No. TN-72-CF-2192, pertaining to the case in Cr.No.182 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent herein, and return the vehicle to the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. It is informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner has not responded to the notice issued by the respondent for enquiry. It is further submitted that another notice has now been issued to the petitioner for enquiry.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to appear for enquiry. On such appearance, the respondents shall conduct the enquiry and pass orders on merits, within a period of one week, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, and thereafter release the vehicle in question. 2/4
