O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate order by exempting the petitioner's land measuring to an extent of 0.75.0 Hectares (1 acre and 85 cents) of Punja lands, comprised in RS number 61/1A, situated in Jagaverrapandiyapuram Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District, from the Urban Land Ceiling Act, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2025.

2. Both parties are present and by considering their arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his application seeking information as to whether the property falls within the Urban Land Ceiling Act or not is now pending consideration before the respondent.

4. The application of the petitioner shall be considered and accordingly, information shall be provided to the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
