After filing an appeal before the District Revenue Officer against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. After pointing out that the District Revenue Officer has called for the relevant file from the Revenue Divisional Officer, he states that the appeal would be disposed of within three (3) months after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, it is not necessary to issue notice to the third respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 2/4

after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent. No costs.
