This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2435 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, Madurai District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the sole accused; that the case is pending trial since 2022; and that it has been adjourned repeatedly for the production of L.W.1.

3. Considering that the alleged occurrence took place in 2019, that the final report was filed in 2021 and taken on file in 2022, and that the prosecution has cited 13 witnesses, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, Madurai District, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.

4. With the observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
