The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 62 days in filing the appeal, challenging the judgment made in Spl.S.C.No.24 of 2020 on the file of the Special Court for Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Nagercoil, dated 23.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State and also perused the records.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous petition is allowed.
