O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the first respondent herein to refer the proceedings for acquisition relating to S.No.62/1 in Kannankottai Group, Devakkottai Taluk, Sivaganga District for adjudication by Competent Civil Court as per Section 3(h)(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956 pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 18.03.2013.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, by producing the proceedings of the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition - Highways), Devakottai, dated 18.07.2017, has submitted that so far no notification with regard to acquisition, has been published under Section 3-A(1) of the National Highways Act, 1956 in the Gazette. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the said submission made by learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, this writ petition is closed, as no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
