By asserting that land in S.No.44/C in Puthampur Revenue Village originally belonged to the petitioner's maternal grandfather, namely, Chinnathambi Gounder, and that the petitioner and his sister inherited the property upon the demise of their mother Palaniammal, the petitioner had applied for survey of the land.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the joint patta issued under patta No.515. He also states that the other pattadhars are related to the petitioner and his sister.

3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate(criminal side) accepts notice for the 3rd respondent. Learned Government Advocate states that the petitioner's application would be acted upon as per the order of seniority and that the application stands at serial number 12.

Considering the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for survey of the entire 7 ares in S.No.44/C after issuing notice to all the pattadhar under patta No.515 and the owners of relevant adjacent lands. Objections, if any, from any of the above said persons shall be taken into consideration before a decision is made.
