This case is listed today under the caption 'for being mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. It is pointed out by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that there are some typographical errors in the order dated 04.12.2025 passed by this Court in this Writ Petition and that the same may be corrected.
3. Since the following typographical errors have been found in the order dated 04.12.2025, as pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the same are corrected as follows: (i) In the first paragraph, after the word 'dated', the words '19.05.2025 relating to Survey No.1/1B1' shall be substituted; and (ii) The date '10.05.2023' mentioned in Paragraph Nos.2 and 4 shall be substituted with the date '19.05.2025'. 2/8
4. The Registry is directed to carry out the aforesaid corrections in the order dated 04.12.2025 and issue a fresh copy of the order to the parties.

This writ petition seeks a direction to the respondent to grant patta in his name based on his application dated 10.05.2023, relating to the house site in Survey Number.36/2B1A2B1A1C.
2. The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct the respondent to grant patta in his name as per his application dated 10.05.2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the submission of the application, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.05.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
