land in S.No.331/6A1, Lingavadi Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the Petitioner's vendor's vendor Application No.22111101237 dated 11.11.2010.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in proceedings No. Ka.No.Oo.Me.Po/Nagar/Natham/Koa.Vi.Pae/A.No.169/2025 dated 22.08.2025, quash the same as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently direct the second respondent to effect name transfer of the electricity service connection bearing Consumer No.0522101875 in favour of the petitioner and to grant free agricultural electricity supply to the petitioner's land situated in Survey No.331/6A1, Lingavadi Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the application made by the petitioner's vendor's vendor in Application No.22111101237 dated 11.11.2010.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 2/4

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the existing service connection is proposed to be transferred in the name of the petitioner.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the petitioner's father had already submitted his readiness for the grant of electricity service connection, which now enures to the benefit of the petitioner, and that his name stands at Serial No.3 in the priority list. It is further submitted that the electricity connection will be granted to the petitioner as and when the policy for providing such connections is implemented.
