PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to Dispose the revision filed by petitioner in Na.Ka.No.D6/697191/2023 within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

After filing a revision petition seeking cancellation of the patta in the name of one Thenammal in respect of the property in S.No.585/37, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of such revision Petition. 1/4

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the revision petition was filed in the year 2023. Although an enquiry notice was issued on 18.11.2024, he states that the proceedings have not been concluded till date.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the sole respondent. He submits that orders would be issued on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In such circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the revision petition on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the parties thereto, including the current pattadhars.
