Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.460 of 2025 dated 26.09.2025 on the file of Respondent No.3 and entrust the same to any other competent police official in the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police for completion of investigation in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to withdraw the case in Crime No.460 of 2025 dated 26.09.2025 on the file of the third respondent and entrust the same to any other competent police official in the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police for completion of investigation in accordance with law.

2. Though the petitioner has sought for transfer of investigation, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Superintendent of Police may be directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the second respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent Police are conducting the investigation in a fair manner and they have taken steps to collect the CCTV footages, which have been broadcasted in the news channels.

4. In view of the above submissions, the second respondent shall conclude the investigation in Crime No.460 of 2025 under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
